The Boys Dragons 10 finished as runners-up in the EPYSA Indoor State Cup Challenge Division, matching their placement from last year. The boys started the day with a dominant 7-1 victory over Deep Run United, looking every bit as dangerous as we see them when at their best in training. They followed up the first victory with a tough-fought 1-0 win over Pennridge Gunners, giving the boys the top place in the table, and thus a bye into the Final. It was a high-pressure match from both sides, and while chances were roughly even, our opponents just managed to convert more and beat us 3-1. Gettysburg Battlefield Blast (Aug 2019)

Congratulations to the Boys Dragons 10 who finished as champions of the Gettysburg Battlefield Blast in our season-opening tournament, posting an impressive undefeated record. The boys finished atop the table in the preliminary round, starting with a defeat of the Harundale Elite Rugrats (1-0), followed by wins over SESC 1812s (4-0), FC Delco Barca (2-1) and FC USA Revolution (5-3). The team began the second day of the tournament with an intense semifinal victory of Harundale Elite, hanging on for a 3-2 victory. The final was a rematch with FC USA, who hung with us until the end in the preliminary round, but our boys came out absolutely on fire and took it to their opponents from the opening whistle, scoring five goals in the first ten minutes, eventually opening up a 7-0 lead, then coasting to the 8-3 victory. The team has truly raised its level of play over the summer months, and it certainly showed this weekend, as every player contributed solidly to the victories. The team now will spend the next couple weeks preparing for the start of their APL Fall season.
