HELLO CLUB MEMBERS
Happy New Year to all our members! The
Framingham United Soccer Club wishes all of you a wonderful, safe, happy and
healthy 2014. As the snow continues to fall and the weather is cold, many of
our teams are getting ready to play indoor soccer. There are many venues to
play like Teamworks in Northboro or Forekicks in Marlboro. Please read further
to keep updated on the events of your club soccer program.
STILL TIME TO REGISTER
FOR SPRING SOCCER
Registration
for the spring 2014 season is still open. If your child is on a current travel
2013-14 travel team and they are not registered for spring, please register
today as we need to submit our teams to BAYS soon. If you have not registered
your child for next season, please register online at www.fusc.org .
To avoid late fees ($20), please register by Feb 1 (Travel) or Mar 15 (In-town). Games start Saturday
April 5th. U16/U18 registration
is still $75 for 7 Sunday games, which start April 27th. This is a recruitment
process so please contact the age director to find out who is coaching this spring. REMINDER! U6 age group registration is now
$90 with no late fees, ever!
WELCOME TO OUR NEW WEBSITE!
It's been in the works for months, but we greet the New Year and the spring 2014 season with our new website. We are using Blue Sombrero, which has allowed us to modernize our web site to provide our club members with the most pertinent information. Facebook and Twitter feeds; field status, latest news and important links are prominently displayed on the home page. In addition, we have updated all of the player, parent, coach, and referee information located on the top menu bar. In May, we will be switching our online fall 2014 registration to Blue Sombrero, resulting in integrated web site portal that you can log in for team information specific to your children. This integration will also enable our coaches, age directors, and board members to easily keep you informed via email and text messaging. FRAMINGHAM COACHES, ASS’T COACHES and TEAM MANAGERS:
Please plan to attend the pre-season coaches meeting on Wednesday – March 26th at 7:00 PM at Marion High School. We strongly urge at least one coach, assistant coach or manager to attend so every team will have the appropriate information and learn more about the season, pick up medical information, ice packs, equipment, and many other valuable pieces that are vital to starting the season off right!
MEMORIAL DAY TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
Register your teams now for the 33rd Annual Memorial Day Classic! Open to all League, Town and Club teams registered with State Affiliates of the US Youth Soccer Association. Please spread the word, ask your indoor soccer opponents before or after your games to join us. This is a large fundraiser for our club.
